SOMETHING FOR YOUR MIND YOUR BODY & YOUR SOUL....

                                             TERRORTEK X

The 80's was and will always be one of the greatest decades for music. Think of the 80's like a huge tree with MANY branches, yet all belonging to the same tree. As an artist & musician, I am a huge fan of the tree itself and love and celebrate ALL of the branches of said 80's tree. Though I usually make Hi-NRG dance music with a retro vs. contemporary spin like in my singles "A Little Respect" & "Hold Me Now", I wanted to explore another avenues or "branches", if you will. I always loved how effortlessly one completely different "genre" blended into another. I have always loved EBM/industrial music. I liked the darker, more danceable/clubby side of industrial with bands like Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly, Armageddon Dildos, to the more mainstream club sounding industrial like Front 242, Boxcar, and Nitzer Ebb. It only proved my point further when pop/dance God Phil Harding (PWL) teamed up with Nitzer Ebb on their single "Warsaw Ghetto" and later on the international club hit "Join in The Chant". So I hope you will all enjoy my contemporary tribute to the old skool dark club sound with a new contemporary reboot with my new project TERRORTEK X.

NEW YEARS EVE..Part 3

NEW YEARS EVE..Part 3

Sheriff Barnes walked into the old but quaint cafe. It was a sort of safe haven, a place of refuge if you will for him. Millie Jenkins had been running the place virtually by herself since the unfortunate passing of her husband of forty years Herbert. Times were tough, not only financially but emotionally. Millie had lost all of her family and was now alone. The good thing about living in a town as small as Eastridge is that you really get to know your neighbors. there is a love, a respect and a bond that is like family, and not easily breakable. Millie could have sold the cafe and moved away from all of the tragedy and the bad memories, but she felt safe, comfortable and loved. For twenty years Sheriff Barnes kept the small town safe. He even managed to keep the "small town' feeling after the development corporation came in and took over. They wanted to tear up the small town, but Sheriff Barnes would not agree to them building over or within their small town. He only allowed them to build around it, which was bad enough. Eastridge became the "quaint little town" smack dab in the middle of all of the big city chaos. " The usual Henry?" said Millie with a friendly but clever tone. " Not today Millie, just a cup of your famous coffee this morning" said Henry. " It's gonna be a cold one and I think a storm's a brewin' said Henry matter of factly. " Somethin' on your mind sugar" asked Millie lovingly but with a slight note of worry. " Nothing for you to worry your pretty little head about" . "It's just..well you know, that time of year" "Yeah...I know" said Millie pensively. "Laura would be about twenty five now" said Millie deep in thought as she poured a cup of hot coffee and sat it down in front of him. " Not a day goes by that I don't think about her, and that poor girl Sara and your..., it's not right Henry, it's just not right" Millie started to well up with tears, excuse me , if you need anything else, just give a holler" Millie could barely get the words out as the tears were rolling down her cheeks and she rushed quickly into the kitchen to compose herself. " Henry wanted to say something, to go after her, but a wave of crippling grief came over him. He too lost someone special, someone he loved that horrible night twenty years ago. Michelle was so beautiful, she was the sweetest, kindest girl you'd ever want to meet. They were so in love. He had never felt like this before. The engagement ring still sits in the top of his dresser drawer. He never got to give it to her... Henry could feel the tears welling up like acid burning his eyes. He closed his eyes and saw the horrific scene, body after bloody body, not just unidentified corpses, neighbors, lovers, family, friends, all slaughtered like cattle, bodies mutilated and discarded all over town by some sick psychopath. Henry still remembered as a young deputy the look on Sheriff River's face as they carried out his daughter's body piece by piece. He couldn't get those images out of his head. He fumbled through his jacket pockets until he came upon a prescription bottle of pills. Henry was shaking so much that he could barely get the child proof cap off "damn caps" he angrily said aloud to himself. Millie came walking out of the kitchen with a tray of freshly cleaned coffee mugs. " that won't make the pain go away hon, it just deadens the soul, trust me I know" . Millie started to put the mugs on the shelf as she continued due to Henry's awkward silence. " When I lost my Laura it was all I could do to ease the pain, the anger. That monster took my baby away from me and I'm never going to see her again". Millie was so distraught that she broke down into uncontrollable tears and ran into the kitchen again. " Mill..I'm so .. I'm so sorry" said a severely distraught Henry almost under his breath. He wanted to say something, he wanted to chase after her, comfort her, but he could barely muster up the strength to help himself. "Damn!" he said in anger as he pounded his fist hard on the counter. He took a few pills from the bottle, tossed them into his mouth and washed them down with the last of the coffee. " Have a good day Millie" he said knowing that he would not get a response. Henry walked outside and stood by his car. He took a cigarette out and placed it between his lips. In an act of extreme grief, he hit the top of the police car with his fist. He could stop seeing those images of all of those innocent people slaughtered. Though visibly shaken he tried to regain his composure. As he went to light the cigarette, a loud voice came over the CB in his car " Sheriff Barnes, Sheriff Barnes, are you there, do you read me?" said a young but very distraught and excited voice" Henry jumped in spite of himself and opened the car door reaching for the CB. " Yeah I'm here, what is it Don?" he asked his young deputy. " Well, there's a few kids, well teenagers missing from up at the ski lodge". said Don still in animated excitement. " Yeah well, they are probably fuckin' around up there somewhere, you know how kids are, how long they been missin'? asked Henry in feigned interest, but still slightly curious as he lit his cigarette. " They say since last night sir" "Who's they?" asked a slightly annoyed Henry " the people up at the lodge sir" said Don with a quivering voice at the possible anger and authority  in his boss's voice. "Dammit!" said Henry in a gruff tone as he took a long drag off of his cigarette as he dropped it and then crushed it under his foot. ' Well don't just sit there get some men up there, I'll meet you guys there". said Henry rather aggressively. He jumped into the squad car and sped away.

The sound of heavy boots stomped down the old wooden stairs. Step by step they listened and knew that with each step he took, it meant one more second was shaved off of their young lives. They could hear this awful thump thump thumping sound like a body being dragged by it's feet down the stairs and the head stopping to hit every stair, never once missing a beat. Mary could feel an ominous presence in the room, she could hear his breath. It was so dark and quiet. They both sat and listened to him walk around the room. Mary held her hands to her face to try to cover her mouth. She felt something at her feet, like a burlap sack or something rough, she could feel it was a body, and it was hard and wet. it was right at her feet. She was so consumed with fear as she listened intently to the movements in the dark. Clang! Scrape! Smash! these sounds startled her. Mary tried in vein to focus her eyes on something, anything, it was pitch black dark. It was too dark to see anything. Mary tried to be as quiet as she could be, backing up in the corner and listening to the sounds that seemed to be coming from all around her. As she slowly tried to back herself up and prop herself up in the corner her chains rattled. She closed her eyes tightly as she heard a grunt then at that moment all the sounds stopped. Though it was probably only for a few seconds, it felt like a lifetime. Mary trembled in fear and utter silence as she listened to see if he had heard. She sighed as she heard movement and sounds again. Maybe he didn't hear me she thought trying to convince herself. Suddenly all motion and sound stopped completely again, it was a dead silence that was deafening. Mary could hear her own heartbeat pounding through her chest. Just then the loud sound of an old generator screamed into the darkness cutting through sharply like a knife and the sound of buzzing as bright lights suddenly appeared from overhead. they flickered on like a domino effect, one by one they buzzed on and bright light would appear. It hurt Mary's eyes, the brightness blinded her, she tried to cover up her eyes to shield herself from the bright lights. Soon Mary's eyes focused and she could finally see. Every muscle in her body tensed up and she felt her heart would jump out of her chest, she could feel the intense fear building up inside of her, it was coming, it was a fear she had never experienced, it kept building and building rushing faster and faster, coursing through her veins, it was here she could not hold it back, she could not control it, this fear had a mind of it's own. She could feel the heavy pressure contorting her face. A force deep within her so powerful that it could not be controlled. Her throat got tight and her jaw slammed open...Mary let out a long and bloodcurdling scream...............

NEW YEARS EVE...continued

Mary violently gasped as she suddenly woke up with a jolt. She was in shock. Her eyes were still trying to focus and her brain was struggling to figure out what exactly was going on. As she regained most of her senses she felt excruciating pain as she cried out " Oh my God, oh my God where the fuck am I , what is going on". It was dark and the stench made her vomit. It was a foul smell that she had never smelt before. It was the stench of death. Mary was so weak and badly beaten she panicked and screamed as she realized that she was retrained. Her wrists and ankles were tightly bound by barbed wire that was cutting deep into her skin. She quickly reached up and found a tight shackle around her neck, her eyes strained at the heavy chain as she tried in vain to pry it off her neck. She could barely breathe. She followed the chain with her eyes link by link, she could not see where the chain link ended. Mary knew it was too heavy to pull and the weight of the heavy chain would put more pressure on her tightly bound wrists causing an even more serious injury. She was wet, she was cold, and she was terrified. The pain shot through her and sent shivers up her spine. she knew she was in trouble, she knew she was probably going to die. Mary started to scream, the pain was almost unbearable. Would anybody hear her? Could anybody help? " Please, please stop screaming" said a frail male voice, almost in a high, yet aggressive whisper, 'he'll hear you and he'll come back". Mary stopped screaming and struggled to adjust her eyes in the dark. She noticed a very faint light that would flicker in and out every so often. During the flickers she could almost make out the silhouette of a man. He was across the room from her in a fetal position. " Don't be afraid, and for God sakes please don't scream again, it only makes him angry". " Wher..where are we? Mary could barely get the words to cross her dry chapped lips. " I dunno.. in some basement or cellar or something" the mysterious man said with uncertainty. "Why are we here?, who did this to us? What do they want?" Mary had so many questions she desperately needed answers for "Please save your breath, save your strength, he will be back, we got to clear our heads, think straight, I'm gonna find a way out of here". "Fuck! it hurts, what the fuck?..I think my feet are nailed to the floor" " What, noooo oh my God, nooo are you serious?" said Mary completely in abject terror. "Yes, I can't see them and I think I'm losing feeling " He flicked the lighter a few times and screamed " Oh God my feet are severed and nailed to the ground".."I'm really hurt bad, really bad". He moaned in pain as he writhed around in the darkness. Somehow he was able to free his hands " there's so much blood, oh God there's so much blood" , I don't want to die here" he said in a tone of utter desperation and hopelessness. " We are going to die aren't we?" Mary cried. Just then they heard a loud door slam shut. " Oh my God, Jesus he's back"!

NEW YEARS EVE

A town with a dark secret. A maniac with an unquenchable blood lust. A night that will never end.

Make survival your New Years resolution!

Twenty long years have gone by since that bloody fateful night. Fifteen people lost their lives to a bloodthirsty psychopath. Something is different this year. There is an evil lurking in the darkness. Something is out there, watching, waiting....This New Years Eve might be your last!

Chapter One.

It was a day like any other day. Nothing special, nothing out of the ordinary happened, but still something just felt different. Sheriff Barnes wiped his furrowed brow. He could feel it in the pit of his stomach. There was an uneasiness that he hadn't felt in a very long time.  Until twenty years ago nothing exciting ever happened in the small town of Eastridge. Since that horrible night when he was a young deputy, nothing like that has ever happened and now as the Sheriff he plans to keep it that way. The town remained silent, solemn, somber even. It took a long time for the town to rebuild both emotionally and financially. Eastridge suffered more than the loss of fifteen of it's beloved neighbors, it suffered a great economic loss due to the massive negative exposure in the media. Slowly but surely the town managed to recover from the crippling loss. People forgot, life continued on. Big city developers moved in and took the small town over. They built a whole new town that centered around a bustling ski lodge. Eastridge had changed in so many ways. Old families who didn't like the new changes moved out and new families moved in. Every year around Thanksgiving dozens upon dozens of tourists took over the small quiet town. Life would never be the same for the long time residents that had to suffer through and live with these new changes. They were deeply resentful and they did not hide it from the upscale yuppies that trampled through their quaint little town. Before the "incident" some twenty years ago, no one could have ever predicted the unimaginable terror that they would one day suffer.

Many people believed that Adam was not even human. He escaped from the high security prison only miles outside of Eastridge. He took a brown paper grocery bag, cut two eye holes out of it and drew a huge happy face on the outside. The horrific bloodstained trail of terror ended in a shower of bullets that ended the life of the most vile and gruesome serial killer that the world had ever known.

Adam's last victim of his uncontrollable rampage was Sara Jones. She was the towns dark secret. Sara was a special girl. She was the product of a brutal rape. Her family was murdered by a mentally deranged lunatic that was said to have roamed the woods stalking innocent hikers. Her mother was so badly beaten and raped that Sara though the bastard child of a madman, was a miracle baby. Her mother died of massive internal injuries soon after Sara was born due to the attack that she suffered almost nine months before. After Sara was born she was sent to live in an orphanage a few towns over. The town and it's residents had suffered so much that they just couldn't have a dark and constant reminder of the evil that almost completely destroyed their town. The evil, deformed baby Sara had to be sent away. The orphanage was run by two miserable old spinster sisters who hated children. They only ran the orphanage to collect the money, they never cared about the children and their well being. The children were mistreated and abused. Once they laid eyes on the grotesquely deformed Sara they knew they were looking into the face of pure evil. They took the baby deep into the woods and laid her in an abandoned cabin. The snow was falling so hard and the biting cold would surely take the devil babies life. They left the child to die. The cabin wasn't abandoned, it was the home of the infamous wild woods woman. She had been almost like a legend. She was barely ever seen in town and lived deep in the woods only mere miles from Eastridge. She took pity on the baby and raised her as her own. When Sara was only twelve she awoke to find her mother dead. Sara terrified and riddled with grief headed into town looking for some help. Sara was spotted by Sheriff Carlson entering their town and he chased her off back into the woods. Sara was frightened and angry, she felt lost, rejected and hopeless. Somehow Sara survived and lived in the small cabin in the woods alone for years.

Adam covered in the blood of the fifteen violently slain victims from Eastridge ran deep in the snowy woods from the lynch mob that was nipping at his heels. Adam could barely see the candlelight coming from atop the hill. The snow had kicked up into a fierce blizzard. He knew he needed to take shelter from the storm and the angry vengeful mob. Adam knocked on the door and after a short while a small frail voice asked who it was. Adam took the bloodstained paper bag off of his head and crumpled it in his hand. Sara reluctantly answered the door. Before Sara could do or say anything Adam had forced his way into the cabin. Sara's face was covered with a torn, dirty white handkerchief. Adam thew Sara down to the ground and pinned her down and violently beat her. Sara did not scream as Adam overpowered her. He ripped the handkerchief off of her face exposing her badly deformed face. Adam jumped back in shock at the unexpected sight. he had already entered her and was determined to finish what he started. He took the crumpled bloody paper bag that was lying beside him. He put the bag over Sara's face and continued to fuck her hard and deep. He moaned as he came inside her. Adam got to his feet, pulled up his pants and looked around the room. Sara sat up, beaten , and naked curled up in a dark corner in a fetal position as she watched him trash her place looking for a weapon. She could barely see through the small eye holes in the paper bag that was still on her head. Adam found a large butchers knife that Sara was using to make her dinner with. He wiped the blade of the knife on his pants to clean the blade then slowly started walking over towards Sara. He told her to get to her knees and turn around. "Do not take the bag off of your head you ugly bitch". Sara crawled into a small circle and faced the wall in the corner she was hiding in. She could feel Adam's hot breath on her shoulder. She closed her eyes and she felt her flesh being torn into. the blade repeatedly cut deep into her back. Sara winced in pain and tears rolled down her face, but she never screamed or made a sound. "Scream you ugly fucking bitch, scream"..just as a frustrated Adam brought the knife down to deal another deadly blow, the sound of heavy , rapid gunfire screamed into the night. Adam fell lifeless onto the wooden floor. Sara collapsed into a shriveled naked pool of blood. her world went black.

Sheriff Barnes fumbled with his left shirt pocket looking for his lighter as a cigarette dangled effortlessly from between his lips. He kept looking up into the sky studying the pattern of the clouds, "looks like there's a blizzard coming" he said aloud to himself. The sun bore down defiantly on his face as if to challenge his confident  remark. As he lit his cigarette and dropped the lighter back in his pocket he sighed, " there goes the neighborhood". He knew that soon his small quiet town would soon be invaded by loud and obnoxious yuppie tourists.

Jennifer Black was frantically running around her room looking for something "dammit where the fuck did I put it"? She angrily exclaimed as she trashed her room looking for the carelessly discarded item. Just as the loud and obnoxious sound of a car horn broke through the early hours of daylight startling sleeping dogs and interrupting the peaceful quiet of a lazy Sunday morning "found it" Jennifer yelped almost under her breath. She opened up her bedroom window wide and yelled ' shut the fuck up Jeff, you are going to wake the dead" Jeff playfully, yet defiantly slammed down on the horn a few more times before he agreed to stop. Jennifer almost tripped down the stairs over her suitcases and backpack and she ran down the stairs with bags flying behind her. A pretty red haired girl stuck her head out of the back window of the black SUV parked in her driveway " get a move on girl, what the fuck?'.. " I'm coming, keep your pants on".. Jennifer kicked her bags out the door and fumbled with the keys trying to lock the door behind her. She turned around and faced her friends with a pile of suitcases and bags scattered all over her front lawn. Angrily and with a gasp of bewilderment " are you fucking kidding me? are you going to let me just.. fuckin' christ guys, fuck it, I'll just do it myself, ". Jennifer tried bending over in three directions at once frantically trying to retrieve the scattered bags, that were strewn all over her front lawn. " Get out there and help her you lazy asshole" the red haired girl angrily exclaimed. Jeff in the drivers seat was enjoying watching his girlfriend struggling to carry the heavy load. He slowly opened the car door " what are you doing out here, playing Twister"? he laughed in spite of himself. " I'll twist something Jeff and trust me it won't be a game"..Jennifer angrily growled. Jeff helped her pick up her bags and throw them into the back of the vehicle. As he turned to shut the back door he almost knocked Jennifer down as she tried to toss another bag into the back before the door came crashing down. " What no morning kiss?" Jeff asked in feigned amazement . "I've got something for you to kiss Jennifer playfully joked as she hit her rear end with her gloved hand. Jeff tried to tackle her as Jennifer quickly jumped out of his way, he went flying face first into a patch of shrubbery. "What the...?" exclaimed a somewhat stunned Jeff. Jennifer stood there laughing as she effortlessly extended a hand to help him up. The pretty fire haired girl named Carrie stuck her head out the window " what the fuck you guys, we are burning daylight and I'm not getting any younger".. "let's get a move on".. "Yes sir both Jennifer and Jeff said in perfect unison being scolded by their friend.

" Did you bring it? did you bring it?' Carried asked excitedly like a child on Christmas. " Yes I brought it" keep your pants on man" said a somewhat annoyed Jennifer. "You are not smoking this shit in my mom's SUV" growled Jeff, wait until we get there" Carried sat back in a angry huff with her arms folded. " Sorry Care but the pot police has spoken" laughed Jennifer.
